hour before training, after work out and before you go bed
when do u take the muscle milk
i was in Walmart the other day and saw a 100 calorie muscle milk four-pak, 7 bucks
the individual box drinks
@6stringsandaneck Sodium caseinate and calcium caseinate both contain hidden amounts of msg…
Muscle Milk Light in water is 195 calories with 54 calories from fat. In water.
With 162 calories from fat
1 serving of muscle milk is not 150. It’s 350. That’s in water.
1 serving is 150 calories i believe
well yea lol
It’s possible to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time though.
your argument is mute. what i mean is there are a lot of empty calories in muscle milk. empty calories are not necessary for increasing muscle mass. someone trying to gain muscle mass should be consuming a gram of protein for every pound of muscle. so if you aren’t fat and weight 160 you should consume 100+ grams of protein a day. Meaning three shakes plus high protein meals at some point in the day. that’s over 1000 calories just from muscle milk. You will not lose a single pound at all.
honestly anyone thats taking its trying to build muscle mass, you need fat to increase more muscle mass thats one major reason how muscles grow. and im sure you know muscle burns fat…..
hahaha
i have a muscle milk right in front of me… i checked the recipe and theres no sign of it… it doesn’t say msg or monosodium glusemate
muscle milk has lots of MSG. Wouldnt drink it.
lol
thats still higher calorie protein shake then 90% of the ones that arent weight gainers on the market
@jakejumpover MM Light is not as bad. Only 195 Cal with 25g Protien
BLAHHH IM DRINKING IT RIGHT NOW HOLY FUCK wait it says it is from………… MEGAN FOX FTW
muscle milk is not good for weight loss. 1 serving is 350 calories. its good for mass building but if weight loss is one of your primary focuses you are much better off going with a protein shake that has 120 calories per scoop and the same amount of protein
no if you have a good diet for training its not necessary to take it in the morning. your body can only absorb a certain amount of protein in the course of three hours so taking it before bed bed or when you first get up is not necessary depending on your diet, and could actually be wasting it because you body will just discard the excess protein
after your workout is better within 10-15 minutes of finishing
both is even better unless you are trying to lose weight
when you get your information from an RD, you tend to become as brainwashed as they are…just try to do the opposite of what an RD does
@LJ4real
