Just incase you wondered why it was called the Riverside...

Yet more rain up North forces game off...

As we predicted on Monday yet more rain up North has resulted in England's Twenty20 match against South Africa at Durham's Riverside to be called off. It means England will go into the mega bucks Allen Stanford Twenty20 match against the West Indies in November without having played a competitive 20 overs match in five months.

The first One Day international against South Africa begins at Headingley on Friday, and we're not going to predict that to be a washout...
